+ the greatest game in the world +
i hereby declare that 9-ball is the greatest game in the world. Yes! Gotta love 9-ball... its so fast paced... so fluid.. so cool and you need not even break a sweat. This report is in no way related to an incident a few nights ago when i controlled a 5 game winning streak while playing 9-ball with Marcus and Nick. Even when my string of wins was broken by Marcus, i still managed several victories here n there, the best part being the fact that 80 to 90% of my winning shots were quite unintentional... hahahahhaa... but that is a minor issue right? hahahha... i mean, you gotta appreciate a game which has such flexible rules so you can just chill, don't think too much and enjoy competition and get to relax... its like having the cake and eating it at the same time, for once. Or maybe i was the only one having fun? Marcus n Nick were too busy invoking the name of God every time i made a shot which bounces off a few corners and somehow or rather navigates its way into a hole.... hhmmmm ...oh well... cheers! *raises wine glass*

+ Dumbass army story #058 +
I may have mentioned this one to some of the guys.... a minute by minute account of the guard duty experience during the infamous witching hours.... seeing as how zombie flicks are all the rage recently, this chronicles a true to life experience.... welcome to dawn of the dead singapore.... 3.17 am: barely awake... drawing my dying attention to a guy off duty... what the hell is he still doing awake?? 3.18am: oh... he must be real hungry to be making cup noodles at this ungodly hour... oh well, i watch the guy make cup noodles 3.20am: man thats pathetic... he looks like a zombie struggling with seasoning packets 3.21am: look at him stare pityfully at the cup noodles... maybe it'll simmer faster if he stones in its general direction.... hahhaha... amusing 3.22am: *Sudden shocking realisation* oh man, whats this say about me?! i actually watched the guy make cup noodles the whole damn time............ 3.23am: i continue watching him make cup noodles 3.26am: i go make cup noodles! hahahaha! stories to scare the grand kids! cheers all! *raises cup 'o' noodles* |
