The last few days were intense. I swear, if the Hall profs had pushed me a bit further... i could have just dumped everything, let them handle their own production if they want dictatorial powers. Fortunately i didn't... control has been regained. there is a plan in the works. losta shit flying. Some i have to take rather than let the others suffer. this video and the subsequent episodes realllly made my day... hahaha! ."cut" by Royston Tan yes i shamelessly wish i didn't have to deal with idiots. But as the video shows, when it comes to media censorship, Singapore has its own unique brand of idiots. Bah Humbug. Change is possible. Let votes do the talking. + 1st post of 2008 +
Man thaat was one eventful dec. The best i've had for a long time. week 1 = exams week 2 = vietnam week 3 = rehearsals week 4 = real "holiday" holidays now rehearsals are starting again and thank God my asst. directors and other directors are beginnin to stream back in. Workin without extra hands was crazy. I don't understand how some movie directors have the time or energy to be control freaks. I've been pretty laissez faire about most things in life and i'm still sometimes up to my neck in trouble. Had a truly memorable New Years countdown with Nicole, Edwin, Joash, Su-lyn and Yu-qin. In fact, b'day, Christmas and everythin in-between was brilliant.       yup got a chance to catch up with noelle and vic too!               I'm actually lookin forward to 2008. no reasons to. perfectly plain silly optimism. Letting my heart take the lead again. first major compliment of the year really got me thinking. Nicole told me i'm the "sane-est person she's ever met". And believe me, she's met tons of people. beats my record every time no matter what i try. anyway, back to that debatable compliment... I was stunned. i've spent a greater part of my life believing i was crazy, if not badly eccentric. A girl named Michelle once told me i was throughly irrational when i said i wasn't too worried over the impending exams cos grades aren't everything in life. Maybe, just maybe, i'm ok but the rest of the world is insane?
