Saturday, June 11, 2005 + back to the issues that matter + Beatrice has been going on and on about poor guy behavior, despite my absolute unwillingness to defend the actions of my so-called "fellow men". Its like she's beggin for a fight or something. Sheesh... i don't believe in obligation. If these guys wanna cheat on their girls or think with their plumbing every 6 seconds a day, don't come to me for sympathy. If any of me buddies broke up, i'll support their actions when i deem it supportable, not cos i'm obligied to. And i'll never be an apologist for cheats and infidelity. U want out of a relationship, u tell her like a man. U don't go smoochin behind her back. i am not perfect and therefore i don't seek perfection in others. But seeing as these imperfections exist and we would do well to improve ourselves, i'll say girls ain't free of fault either. 1.) Girls fear drama in their lives. They watch it and what they see scares them shitless. They are terrified of having to deal with that stuff in real life. If they want out of out a relationship, u can count yourself lucky if they tell it to your face. Its the only fair and honourable thing to do, but chances are they'll chicken out and u'll find out via a third party or your own deduction. Looking for closure? u'll be lucky to find it from her. Lookin for answers? Nadah. 2.) Girls can't make the first move. 40 years of feminist ideals later, and they can get seats in congress but still can't make the first move. Then they'll cry over split milk if the guy they had a crush on gets taken. 3.) Girls don't sympathize with guys. You come back after a hard week of NS and complain to a girl, u'll wish u'd stay in camp and complained to your buddies instead. She'll accuse u of being either a whiner or talking about things she doesn't understand (or doesn't want to for that matter). Admit it, we all feel for our buddies when they're down. It doesn't matter down with what. She can sympathize, its more a matter of her wanting to. 4.) Girls want to be treated like princesses. Its their ideal. Its friggin tough to live up to. One wonders why we cant treat them like equals. Petty Burgeosie brainwashing. 5.) When girls cheat, they see it as a symptom of a larger underlying problem with the relationship. Don't play words with a champion bullshitter man. U cheat means u cheat. i've had the political decency to only use the term girl, not females. Ladies will come under a seperate study. Girls are still young and have much to learn, so the all mentioned above is partially forgivable. I blog in hope that guys won't have illusions of romance being a bed of roses. And in hope that girls will wisen up. I'm no woman-hater, Eve is in fact the perfect companion for Adam. She has many qualities of her own which are rare in a man. I'll probably discuss those in future, its always good to talk about more positive things in life.
