Monday, June 13, 2005 + New old stuff + I really liked the tv commercial with the 2 africans rushing out of the hotel to play with the snow outside... then the words "When was the last time u did something for the first time?" popped out. I forgot the product they were merchandisin though... hahahha... Trying out a new experience? i'll all for it... albeit on a smaller scale these past few days 1.) Found a short-cut between my house n Bedok MRT within cyclin distance. Turns out is called Figaro road. Seriously. Pretty terraces along the way fuel capitalist bourgeosie ambitions. 2.) Tried a weird flavor from Peel Fresh. Blackcurrent n raspberry n aloe vera bits. It had expired by a day. (aren't i living life on the edge?) Really funky taste. i highly recommend it. 3.) Watched "Bang in a Can All Stars" at Victoria Concert Hall. Feelin all arty-farty. 4.) Walked from Fullerton Hotel to Suntec at night. Really beautiful scenery. i pledge to night cycle the whole riverside one day, before i die. Anyone wanna make bookings? i ain't gg this one alone u know... 5.) Borrowed a book on Kempo. A fighting style from Okinawa. Labelled as being too dangerous to be made into a sport. Hell, i understand why.... it advocates shots to the groin and other "pressure points"... but hey, in self-defense, anythin is fair game. Learnt that in St. Patricks... life was rough. 6.) Bought a soccer ball. An instant hit with the dudes at church. Partially because its a Nike T90... Partially because its a striking yellow and blue. Funky with a capital phunk. 7.) Block under upgrading, but thats old news...racket from drilling is forcing me outta da house more often though.
