Thursday, October 19, 2006 + Irony of ironies + Thats it, i've brought Mr. TagBoard out to the backyard and gave it 2 bullets in the head. Rest in peace. Some weeks ago, i co-wrote the KR Culture Night script with Danielle and Yuanjie. As a requirement, i fleshed-out the main character (Brian), whom i dare say, was the most loser-rific creation that has ever passed through my imagination. I took great pride in making him drunk in 2 outta 9 scenes, having him fall/get knocked over in almost every scene, hell, plainly speakin, he the uber-wimp with the worst luck on the planet. AND his quest is to win over the leading lady. Oh well, i won't be puttin up spoilers. As my own crazy luck would have it, i finished a few hours before deadline (meaning at 5am in the morning). Then some days later, whilst i was still feeling mighty pleased with meself creating a whole new level of loser, i get an sms. Danielle: "Anuja asks if you can act as Brian for culture nite haha :)" After my initial shock and some lengthy persuasion, i agreed to it. I swear i must have been really drunk or really bored or both. Rehearsals are in full swing, and somehow, the stage movement actually made Brian EVEN MORE loserific than i had ever envisioned. I pray i can get past this alive. Or with some reputation intact. Director Sebastian is already used to calling me "Brian" instead of ian. shudder life is fun. B'cos God has a sense of humor.
